Steel Warriors and Alloy Fabweld
Back in 2017, we were approached by the founders of Steel Warriors, Ben Wintour and Pia Fontes to volunteer our time and materials to help build the first Calisthenics gym in London that strives to bring down knife crime by melting down confiscated knives and using them in a positive manner to build the gym. Alloy Fabweld and our other brand family member, Rebel Strength took on the challenge and helped deliver the gym to Langdon Park in Tower Hamlets. with the support of the Met Police and City Hall. The gym is free to train in, a youth club, Spotlight will provide training sessions and there will be mentoring from ex-offenders. The official opening of the gym was in October 2017 and Steel Warriors hopes to set up several similar gyms across London in the future.
