An awards hat-trick for Alloy!

Back in the New Year, the Marketing team decided to enter for a few awards in the Uttlesford Business Awards. A few months later and a lot of hours putting the applications together, we were entered into 'Medium Business of the Year' and 'Business in the Community'. In April, we were thrilled to find out that we had made it as finalists in both categories, which was fantastic news! Considering the business had never entered any business awards in over 20 years, it was a bit nerve-racking and a long wait...

In May, we had a number of judges visits to our HQ and Gosfield. A lovely bunch of local business people, they seemed suitably impressed by our growing success and the array of activities we take on as a company, both in-house and outside.

On 14th June, a group of staff attended the glittering awards evening and to our delight won BOTH our awards, Medium Business of the Year and Business in the Community!

Added to that, we also scooped the coveted 'Business of the Year' award (a special judges only decision). Absolutely over the moon, Shaun Pledger told the press, "it's all down to the hard work of our diverse teams". "the judges were great, lovely people that were genuinely interested in our business - the judges made it for us".

Our other brand Flexi Group took 'Small Business of the Year' - which was a brilliant achievement in a tough category of 5 other great local businesses.
