£10,000 for St Nicholas Hospice!
During a recent charity evening and auction at The Bildeston Crown in Suffolk, Alloy Fabweld were pleased to bid & win two fantastic prizes - a Clay Pigeon shoot & lunch at the Lindsey Rose and Dinner for 6 cooked by Chef, Chris Lee.
A fantastic night, filled with great donations and warmth, all for the charity, St Nicholas Hospice.
Over fifty diners paid £90.00 per head for the dinner and matched wines. As they ate, diners generously purchased raffle tickets to win prizes donated by each of the six chefs. A surprise addition to the evening was a number of other treats offered by those who had heard about the event which led to chef Chris Lee (turning auctioneer) to whip up bids on seven prize lots.
An incredible £10,000 was raised for the local St Nicholas Hospice who need £11,000 per day of every year to stay open.
